2 ply twisted seagrass
The thickness may vary within the coil. It is made of a grass, that is hand twisted into a rope like cord, which is variegated green and tan in color. This green color will turn tan with age. It can be dyed. It is used for seat weaving, some wicker furniture and basketry. One three pound coil will do an average chair seat.
