Flat Reed is rattan splint cut by machine from the larger diameter rattan poles. Flat Reed is flat on both sides with the top side being smoother. It can be used for weaving chair seats and basket weaving. It can be stained or dyed easily. Each one pound coil consists of random lengths, ranging from a few ft in length up to 8, 10 ft+ on average.
Available in natural and smoked colour.
