Flat Oval Reed is rattan splint cut by machine from the larger diameter rattan poles. Flat Oval Reed is flat on the bottom side and oval on top. It can be used for weaving chair seats and basket weaving. It can be stained or dyed easily.   Each one pound coil consists of random lengths, ranging from  a  few ft in length up to 8, 10 ft+ on average.
